What SnapPage Collects
SnapPage is designed with privacy in mind. The extension:
- •Does not collect personal data. No names, emails, or identifiers are gathered.
- •Does not track browsing activity. No URLs, page content, or browsing history is recorded.
- •Does not send screenshots anywhere. All captures are processed locally in your browser and never leave your device.
Data Stored Locally
SnapPage uses browser.storage.local to store:
- •Your screenshot temporarily (until you close the editor tab)
- •Your license key and activation status (if you purchased Premium)
- •Extension settings (capture format, tool preferences)
This data never leaves your browser.
License Validation
If you purchase SnapPage Premium, the extension sends your license key to our validation server to verify it. This request contains only the license key string — no personal or browsing data is included.
